A unique opportunity to create stunning photographs of magnificent “Birds of Prey” under controlled conditions.
The Triple “D” is proud to announce the continuation of the “Birds of Prey” photography Sessions in 2026. You can expect to photograph a variety of raptors. It is not always possible to determine what birds will be available for exhibition until the time of the photo session. Past sessions have included a variety of birds which included:
American Kestrel, Barred Owl, Snowy Owl, Great Horned Owl, Northern Saw-whet Owl,
Barn Owl, Ferruginous Hawk and Red Tail Hawk.
What the Triple “D” can guarantee is a full Event allowing adequate time to photograph, sketch and observe the “Birds of Prey”. Most sessions are scheduled to commence with early morning light. These sessions are offered in conjunction with some of Triple D’s monthly wildlife photography specials and workshops. This “Birds of Prey” Event is designed as an optional session. Individuals can choose to participate in a workshop or just a Birds of Prey Event.
Since 1972 we have catered to the needs of both amateur and professional photographers and are constantly striving to provide our clients with new opportunities to expand their portfolios. Our guests can participate in private photography sessions or join many of our organized specials, seminars or workshops advertised throughout the year. If you are interested in learning new skills, we can put you in contact with one of our many talented professional photographers who regularly bring groups to our ranch. Fees:
Price per participant
$250 – Inc. a $100 non-refundable deposit
Accompanying non-photographers fee
$75 per day/per participant
Terms & Conditions
- All deposits non-refundable unless the Triple” D” cancels the Event.
- Triple “D” reserves the right to cancel all sessions with full refund.
- Species may be substituted if the Animals health and wellbeing is in jeopardy.
- Triple “D” is not responsible for participants missing sessions.
- 3% Discount when using cash to pay final balance (US Currency ONLY).
- 3% Charge when using credit/debit card to pay final balance.
