The birds featured in this event are provided by Montana Wild Wings, a dedicated local rehabilitation organization that cares for injured birds of prey. These remarkable raptors, currently undergoing recovery, offer a unique chance to photograph them in a close-up setting before they are gracefully released back into their natural habitat. However it is not always possible to determine what birds will be available for exhibition until the time of photo session. What the Triple D can guarantee is a full event allowing adequate time to photograph, sketch and observe the birds of prey.

Most sessions are scheduled to commence with early morning light. These sessions are offered in conjunction with some of Triple D’s monthly wildlife photography specials and workshops.
